History

River Bend Homestead is my family’s home, but also the home of my flower farm. Discovering flower farming here has been the purpose that I was seeking to combine my passion for gardening and environmental education all into one. To teach people in the community the benefits of choosing locally grown flowers is something that I am extremely passionate about. 

I sowed my first seeds here in 2021 and in the fall of 2023 officially establish River Bend Homestead as a flower farm. Through our seasonal CSA bouquet subscription, workshops, events, farmers markets, and more my flowers have made their way into the community. People buy flowers for special moments in their lives and making the conscious effort to choose our locally grown flowers for those moments means more to me than people will ever truly know.
